Holaaaa! I'm Seleyna
(Pronounced Sel-ay-na)
a lifestyle photographer, wife and momma of three adventurous and spirited little girls who make my world go round. I’m a lover of all things equestrian, delicious wine, coffee, and finding a smokin good bargain! I’ve also been known to have adopted more than a few animals... without asking permission..Thankfully I married my absolute best friend, my most favourite human ever who is my constant source of endless support and encouragement and no matter what I bring home...new crazy ideas, a sweet sale item or a new animal he’s got my back. We laugh a lot, like a lot a lot, usually at each other. I’m also a registered nurse which is something I treasure, the connections made with people at such a vulnerable time in their lives.

SO WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
The truth is, after being caught up in the late middle of the night feeds, the sleepless nights and the hours spent trying to figure out how to be a “mom" it became clear that things would never be the same again. This tiny human was changing before my eyes, at a rapid speed and there was no pause button. These precious moments were slipping through the cracks. I quickly realized that I wanted and needed to capture and document our families everyday life. That is where my passion soared!
Things that inspire me...
Beautiful spaces, that golden light, and people who love hard and laugh often. I love the feeling of snapping a moment in time and just by looking at the image being able to FEEL the emotion. I want to capture the magic in your everyday, in a space where you are most comfortable- in your home and with the people you love. Those little split seconds of time where you love so fierce, and your emotions are raw. Those moments that would otherwise be gone. The first days with your beautiful new baby, their teeny tiny fingers and toes. The addition of a second baby, and your toddlers obsession with their new sibling. The connections between you and those that you love, all of which make up the crazy, wild, beautiful, messy and wonderful life that is yours. Photography is the most perfect way to document that wonderful and wild journey.
